My name is Dave Roach.

I am the owner & operator of Mud and Merlot. 

As far as you all know, I am (or was) a middle - school Art & Ceramics teacher. What you may not know is that I have recently taken a giant "Leap of Faith" and resigned from teaching to give 100% of my time & attention to Mud and Merlot!

 

I love ceramics & love teaching, so to be able to

do it in my own studio is a dream come true!

I have to admit, it is a bit scary giving up a guaranteed salary, health insurance, pension, etc. but the excitement outweighs the negative ten - fold. I mean, I don't wanna go through life thinking that I should have taken the risk.

You only live once, right?

I teach ceramics to adults, kids & families at a

very reasonable price so that they keep coming back. My classes are longer and less expensive

than any other ceramic studios around, that I

know of.

 I would much rather make a little bit of money several times, while keeping people happy,

as opposed to overpricing people and

never seeing them again. To me, that’s just

good business.

 

So, grab your family and friends, grab a

bottle of your favorite adult beverage

(wine, bourbon & beer glasses are

provided), and come make something cool

while spending quality time with the

people you love.

It doesn’t get much better than that!
