This was hands down one of the best memories I could’ve ever experienced!!!! Dave was warm and welcoming!!!!!! Met us at the porch with arms wide open and the biggest smile !!! The timing was perfect and we ended up making two little pieces each and the pricing is phenomenal compared to other locations!!! Definitely worth the buck here !! Please come see Dave…. We were a group of 4 and had such a blast! Most of us were new at wheel throwing. Dave explained it very well and demo'd all the steps, which were easy to follow. Our ceramics turned out to be super thick but they were so fun to make! 😆 For clarification, there are a total of 2 classes: one class is to throw the wheel and the next class is to glaze what you made. Each class has its own fee and you pay at the end. You could choose to just do one class to learn to throw the wheel or do slab building but why wouldn't you want to come back to glaze what you made? 🤭 We'll definitely be back for more classes and apply all the lessons learned for the next makes. We also got a tour of the backyard with all the farm animals and the dogs, so that was a treat 😄. Living in this area, there are not a lot of things to do without having to drive far, so we're glad Dave is relatively close to us. Searched for a different type of date night activity and ceramics at Mud & Merlot was a great choice! The misses loved it and we had a great time. The owner Dave is just awesome and let us pretty much make anything we wanted. We return soon for glazing our projects and my wife has found her a new hobby for sure. Troy

This is by far thee best experience for ceramics making. Affordable, FUN, and so creative. We had a blast with our group and created something beautiful. The owner, Dave, was fantastic while guiding us as needed and keeping us inspired with awesome ideas! Bring your own wine is such a great touch of course (lol) can’t wait to be back and spread the word about this gem!!! Blake
I had the most wonderful time at Mud and Merlot! Dave allowed us to have a private class with just me and my husband, and it was freaking amazing. He was so friendly and accommodating of anything we wanted to do, and made us feel so comfortable. I’m definitely having pottery parties here in the near future! My daughter and I went and took Dave’s 2.5 hour class and it was amazing! He is a fantastic instructor and is patient even when one of us was on the slow side 😂. I highly recommend anyone looking for a fun experience to visit Mud & Merlot. Andrew
